Welcome to the website for DJ CLace

 

I first started DJ'ing in the 1980's. Initially, it was for mostly high-school events at Carter, Kimball, Roosevelt, SOC and other Dallas area high schools. My early mentors include "Big Al" & "DJ Snake" from the hip hop group Nemesis. Also during that time I was DJ'ing at the most popular Dallas teenage club "2nd Stage". One of my mentors the late-great DJ USHY and his group the Star Stutter Strutters first performed the iconic song "Network" live at 2nd Stage and a legend was born while yours truly was on the 1's & 2's as a co-host. Later I started DJ'ing at various local venues around the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. I'm sure some remember my initial DJ persona Dr. Jamm! Several close friends still call me DJ Jamm as we reminisce, laugh and remember those early days.

As the years passed, I became the official DJ for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. providing entertainment services for the annual ball. I also DJ at various clubs such as Steppers in Grand Prairie, TX., private and professional venues and organizations over the years.

 

After having kids my DJ life took a pause so that I could become what God destined me to be which was to be the best dad possible. I feel truly blessed to have been able to aspire and see them grow and experience some of they're own goals and dreams.

I reincarnated my craft in 2006, and DJ CLace was born. Over the years, I have rocked some really nice events.
